Kanako Sugiyama

Born and raised in Nara, Japan in 1977. Kanako Sugiyama participated in the Issen Bijutsu Exhibition at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum (2021–2024), where she received a newcomer award in 2023. She also received an honorable mention at the All Japan Art Salon Painting Grand Prize Exhibition at The National Art Center, Tokyo in 2023.
